what on earth is going on are BT lieing to Orange or are Orange lieing to me and how to get this sorted out its just stupid!!
Well it's hard to say exactly whats happening without knowing more details. Specifically the current fault status and any relevant previous details in the fault notes.
Could Be Broadband is a problem that BT are working on or that something's wrong with the fault preventing it from being updated.
Hi phoned up Orange tech today and they said that a line test had been issued on the 31st of march and that the results had not come back and they can take up to 10 days. Now as a question what are everybody elses experances with line tests do they normally get done quickly or even within the 10 days or do u think they havent even done one yet??. I would also like to say Orange customer services is very confusing on about the 3rd of april they said they had found a fault and that they were working on it then the next day they said wait for the results. Is there anybody is this forum that has the power to tell me what is going on or even somehow make me get the 8mb i am paying for here are my stats by the way. and the line profile is always 2mb.

Had a problem with my line and Orange said they would run tests after 3 weeks they told me it was a problem with BT and BT would fix it, but that would take another five days, they even gave me a fault number if I wanted to contact BT to push it along as this was not ecceptable and it shouldn't take 3 weeks to test a line, I was told that 3 weeks was the norm for line tests, I phoned BT and they said there was no fault reported but wouldn't discuss anymore with me as any reported problems was between them and Orange!. It was fixed after 5 days ( sort of )
I phoned them every 2 days at first by the end of the 3rd week I phoned them every day and threatend them with colesing my account with them if it wasn't sorted after the 5 days was up, I even said that if it wasn't up to full speed I would go with a service that would could give me a faster connection, I was quoted £45 cancellation fee (I would of paid twice as much to get rid of them) but it was sorted, I was told by a network engineer that the more you conplain the higher up the queue you go, keep on at them!
Phoned Orange again they say they are now aware of the problem and that the problem is nationwide. They say that people are working very hard to sort this problem out and gave me a 15 days sort out time!!!
Is this normall anybody work at Orange and could confirm that there is infact a nationwide problem?? or is that i lie??
Hi i am just wondering if there would be a reason why interleave is turned on on my line for i always sync at 7616mbs never below the only thing that goes up and down sometime is the noise margin so is there a reason for this.
