Livebox can not connect, possible cause 'your firewall is switched on'

No my firewall is off.

I disables my anti-virus and now im getting error messages that my modem is none existant Rolling Eyes

Live box is back in the box.

A guy from Orange rang out of the blue and helped me configure the live box.
Works fine now.

Great advice about "Install CD" not working!

Have followed this and managed to install Live Box on PC.

However, after restarting my PC, how do I now connect to the net? I have clicked Internet Explorer, Wanadoo Broadband, Orange and Livebox Icons to connect to net - but just brings up "unable to establish connection". Have "System Restored" to revert back to my 2MB connection but can anyway help me further please to connect to 8MB if I reinstall?

Usually you just click internet explorer as it normally works as a true always on connection, you just use it and it works.

How did you connect to the livebox, a wired connection or wireless?
