Posted on dslzone about the disconnections and they figured from my line stats im on ADSL max so they told me to wait 10 days because the line will be unstable till then.
I've been with BT since 1998 and found them by far the best. About 2 years ago I had a spell of about 2 weeks when my connection was being repeatadly dropped. I went to the BT site and did a line check which detected a problem on the line. 48 hours later BT phoned me, yes phoned me, to say that the fault had been repaired and to ask if the connection problem had been cured and if there was anything else they could help me with?
I initially started on broadband with BT Option 3 but downgraded to Option 1 - no problems. For the last two years BT have reduced my bill by £3 per month to stay with them, which I of course have. I've just renewed for another 18 months and not only have they reduced my monthly bill by £3, they're also providing me with their BT Vision equipment completely free of charge.
It's great to be rewarded for loyalty - not punished! Need I say anymore?
