T-Mobile challenged whether the ads were misleading
You will find the info on the ASA website under this weeks adjudications.
The complaints were made by T Mobile in respect of some mobile adverts.
I think T Mobile was probably trying to pip Orange to the post, if you'll pardon the pun. Don't really matter who reported them though. The fact is the ASA as the industry watchdog found the four complaints to fail on Truthfulness.
As a point of interest I think one that is currently under investigation and shortly due an adjudication is in relation to a previous post aired sometime ago on this website about Oranges 'unlimited' and very ambiguous 'Fair Use Policy'.
So the complaints are not being purley restricted to Oranges mobile packages. First Watchdog, now these latest ASA adjudication and now the possibilty of a further slap over the wrist. Just hope Eric the Orangeman is managing to sleep at night.
Orange deserve everything they are getting right now- they' earnt it afterall.
I personally feel sorry for the front line workers, it must be like being stuck between a rock and a hard place. Trying their best to field questions which they already know cannot be answered and fed s*** from the greedy shareholders above.
I would love to see the customer figures for last month lol
