If you can i'd migrate now before you get put on llu and they complicate things.
It's probably too late to avoid some complications as there will be a LLU migration order already in the system.
One of the Watchdog broadband people they had on the other week got swept up in an LLU migration when they tried to cancel/migrate causing a big delay and problems getting it sorted out.

Yep - Not so sure about the date now tho':
Orange said: "We're going to complete your upgrade on 23/03/2007 at some point between 8am and 6pm".
New member here. Not worth posting my sorry story - it's much the same as everyone else. What I have been trying to find out though is what Orange are doing about it. Does anyone have any news on whether there is a plan from Orange to provide the service described and in what timescale?
Just done the above speedtest only 12 hours after my stats showed an increase in downstream speed. Was absolute rubbish last night was only getting speedtest results around 400.
Will let you know if there are any other improvements.
Well its good that I can throw my maxof 2.7 meg out the window. My new day time speeds range from around 3.4 meg to 4 meg.
Although the speeds quickly drop to appalling levels in the evening. The Voip service becomes like a mobile phone with a very bad signal. ( Could be evening network congestion). Web pages are very slow to load at times. You can pretty much forget about downloading anything as well during these hours.
Speedtests in the evening show only between 500 kbps to 1 meg im lucky. This speed quickly shoots up to over 4 meg by around half 11 each night.
Back to a positive note here are some speed tests from just now.
Well Gravesend Exchange 'upgraded' last night (over a week later than their e-mail said), before this i've been getting an average 6500Kbps on speed tests, i'm now getting just over 2000 - bah!!!!!!
I would ask them why they have put you on a fixed 2Mb line.
Keith
Thanks - I just called them and persevered, he called through to someone, and said it's probably because they hadn't completely finished the upgrade at the exchange, so not sure if this was because of the call, but my stats without rebooting have now gone up to:
Downstream: 8128
Upstream: 288
3930 Kbps on a speedtest at the moment - so quite happy!
Good to here zounds is getting the same speeds. Would be great if you could post some speedtests and exchange info.
Well I think i'm gonna be stuck on the dreaded 2.7 now, perhaps it was because I tested just as they finished the migration earlier and before they done something to mess it up.
Zounds if you coulddo some speedtests from various times of the day this wolud be very helpful to us all. Just to see whether you are capped at 2.7 meg or not. Cheers.
