just been connected after yet another fault , spend last spring without connection over the LLU transfer , all that inconvinience to have 8 mg...which , incidently, amounted tono change, .struggled for compensation , got 2months free...woop.... couldnt get the £40 plus back in phonecalls , this time, ...line checks , phone back in a day ....oops ...our line check software is down , now , i hadnt heard that one before so didnt see it coming, what had happened , really , as it seems , the last tech man i spoke to had accidently altered my username, .....should i give up i ask ....yep ....almost, afterthought .....WHERE IS OUR 8MG has anyone seen it
They can't just alter your username like that, it's permanent for the account. The part after the @ can change on a few occasions but that's not something that can just be done when you call as it's hidden away in the stuff behind the scenes they don't have access to.
Yeah, the freeserve ones are backups and are usually only used when work's being done and something for the setup of the connection needs to be changed. It doesn't happen all that often really.
