I received my LLU MAC code from Orange about 10 days ago which was accepted by BE. My line was transferred on March 1, with a downtime of about 25 minutes. Now I'm synching at 24meg with an effective download rate of between 10500-12500 kps, as opposed to Orange which seemed to stick at 2700 and went down to about 550 kps in peak evening times.
Wow thanks for the reply i envy you lol I take it that the be connection is also stable between 5pm and 11pm thats what i am after as much as anything.
Yes, i'm really pleased to have moved, although a bit sad having been with Freeserve from about 1999 and then Wanadoo and Orange. I just thought some of the LLU problems would go unresolved, so once the new MAC migration requirements came into force on Valentines Day decided to abandon Orange.
The BE connection seems really stable so far - with no evening disconnections.
