I've contacted Watchdog about the appalling way in which I am being treated by Orange. Having lost access to my Freeserve account due to excessive spam I was unsuccessful in getting them to clear my Spam as Wanadoo had previously done.
I asked for my MAC code so that I could change ISP and was told that they could 'definately' supply a MAC code, only then to be told that they had closed my account (rather than migrating it) and therefore couldn't give me a MAC code!
I guess if your still in their "so called Contract" they wont give you a MAC code cos if they do that they cant screw you for the "outstanding" money you supposedly owe for something that doesnt work.
They got you all ways, the only way you can get out is either see out the contract period or pay them for the privelage..shocking business ethics and they shouldnt be able to do this especially when they CANNOT provide the service we are paying for.
