It appear from this thread that only 12 exchanges have a problem.
Therefore there is no reason why Orange should think that they have a problem.

I just dont think many users have found this website yet Keith, many probably cannot surf well due to the constant disconnections that put John Travolta to shame or slow speeds of pages loading so they give up and with some Support Agents blaming the users equipment.
My small story.....
I called and was told that I was on 8MB BB and should be getting speeds aroudn 5mb due to line lenght which I would be happy with, then I was told that my router modem can only handle 6mb max, I asked how did he know what router I had? he said you have a livebox.... Ooops NO I dont I have a Netgear ADSL2+ compatible modem router which can hit speeds of 24mb, he said AH! then it was time to blame my OS as I use Vista, but as I told him before the "UPGRADE" I was using Vista as I had been part of the beta testing for nearly 18 months so Vista is a non-issue, then I got a hang on I'll check your area for incidents, low and behold he said the slowness is nothing to do with me or my equipment but theirs in the areas below, not just exchanges but whole city areas!!!!
This poped up a few days after I called and is still their now
My speeds are dropping to DUN most days.... was offine half of saturday, I'm a patient person but its now heading for 2months since my speed downgrade and they havnt addressed this issue as many here are still suffering slowness.
As mentioned about rather than fix the isues already caused they are moving on with LLU, so if same engineers are doing this LLU upgrade they will be causing the same faults with all exchanges as they have not found the cause to the orginal exchanges!
They do have problems but will not give a completion date as I fear they are more worrried about their Phone Customers that their newly aquired BB customers.
This posting won't make a blind bit of difference to our plight but I name and shame BATLEY T.exchange. since upgrading to LLU on 15th Feb 07. my download speed has dropped fron a steady 1.p Mbps to an average over past 2 weeks of 310 Kbps download and 240 Kbps upload. 1.6 kilometers from exchange. A brother and 2 friends on BATLEY are also experiencing the same problems. Been in touch with the very pleasant CS and the Techies', tried everything at my side of the telegraph pole to sort things but to no avail. I've a few personal things to sort out first then it looks like a MAC code will be requested. BM
I name and shame Sale manchester exchange..syncs at 5.6 lucky to get 1 ... an old 56k modem works better. I have been with this shower since the Freeserve days and it just gets worse and worse . So bye bye Orange you can stick your livebox where the sun don't shine !
Was originally getting 3500kps now on LLU getting 300kps at best ,orange are were blaming BT equipment .But after discovering this site i rung and asked if i was on llu and it seems i am ------ Atherton manchester/wigan
I was getting around 6.5meg on ADSL Max, went down to an average of just under 2meg on LLU. However Orange have now let me out of the contract, so signing up with Be (www.bethere.co.uk) will hopefully get around 16meg download and 1.3meg upload!
Basingstoke - I believe went LLU last Friday. Modem reports 2.5meg but line tests by me never exceed 800k down and 200k up. The response times are deadly slow and sometimes there is no internet at all. Got my MAC from Orange and waiting to see what happens by Friday.
Update Thursday 22nd - been quite speedy during the day but service has deteriorated badly since about 1600. Performance more like a 28k mode sometimes. I have given my MAC code to BT Business and will give their business broadband a try for a few months. The 20:1 contention is attractive and it's only a few quid more per month than some 50:1 packages. I'll get better and more accessible support too.
I'm off!! Got my BT Business Broadband enabled yesterday. Running happily over 2meg all day with about 480k up. Less than six days from giving BT my MAC. Ta ta Orange - I'll be dumping my mobile phones from you soon too.

If you are getting poor speeds on LLU name and shame your exchange here.
Starting with mine:
Weston-super-Mare - speeds 2.2 - 2.7
Orange will then know which exchanges they have to work on - probably all of them. These posts will also show which exchanges have Orange LLU, details of which Orange do not fully publish.
I have read on another newsgroup that Orange TS are saying:
"That the only `deliberate` capping in place is where users abuse the limits". A fault was raised for that exchange - result awaited.
