Im a patient man,well I like to think that I am.But Orange are the sort of company that would drive anyone over the edge.Am I being unreasonable asking for my money back.....you decide.
So after umpteen calls,rubbish service,dropping out bb,copious amounts of bull***t,and customer service thats a disgrace to the name( Im sure you all know where Im coming from).I left them last week at the third attempt.If anyone is contemplating this,dont even waste your time wondering if your new provider will be better......I went to BT whereupon all my problems with BB drop out stopped.
So I thought that as they run the company as they do, with no regard whatsoever for customers,it might be prudent to cancel my direct debit very quickly indeed.so I phoned the bank and was somewhat taken aback when she said "Which one".......It turned out that not only had they been takingthe 21.99 for crap service,they had also been taking 14.99 for no service at all!.....so I eventually discovered that when I switched to the 21.99 package.........the 14.99 package should have been stopped this was back in August 2005.I was told this by Graham Hodgeson at Orange,but he would sort it out for me.
Today I tought I had better check if it was being done,only to discover from Keely "Sorry I cant give you my surname for security purposes" that it wasnt being done at all and that after speaking to Jamie the "Champion" that they would only give me half my cash back.When I asked for Jamies surname of course "I cant give you that for security purposes".So they are prepared to give me half my cashback,but not all of it.My question is "If they are prepared to give me half the cash back then what reason would they have for not giving me all my cash back"
Am I the only one that thinks that this in most other circles would be called THEFT?
Im now about to put pen to paper and try to escalate it further by writing to Verulam point,but Im not holding my breath.I expect the CEO of Orange is out on the golf course with his mates spending his bonus........
Has anyone had any luck whatsoever getting any joy out of this waste of space of a company?
I think you hit the nail on the head by using the phrase "waste of space company" ....they deserve no business with their attitude towards their customers.
Their "couldnt care less" attitude leaves a LOT to be desired.
