I cancelled Orange about a week ago and today it looks like they have took broadband off of my line as the ADSL light flashes and i get the no dial tone message but when trying to order on the BT website it's asking me for a MAC code.
MAC codes don't work in my area because my line is LLU so i had to cancel the long way. Because i can no longer connect, i have assumed that it is off my line but it obviously isn't yet as BT customer service say there is still a service on the line.
it can take upto 10 working days for the broadband to be taken off the line, this is nothing to do with Orange, its all BTs doing, however if you contact Orange ask to speak to the provisioning team they will be able to give you a date of when it will be fully removed
