Well I thought I had said goodbye to you guys as my problems had been sorted.
But oh no.
Last time my broadband was down for 4 and a half weeks, took 20+ phone calls , 2 complaint letters to Orange and 2 to oftel.
I have had my broadband back for only about 2 and a half weeks and now it is down again. PPP-Server down.
Now phoned Orange tech support 4 times. Each time to be told they will do a line test and to phone back. When I phone back no record of a line test. Apparently they are having a problem with a new spreadsheet that has been set up!
So looks like I am back at square one and Orange have got no better since my last experience.
As soon as my 12 months are up on the contract I am getting away from Orange - forever. Wish I had never got involved with them.

Its strange how their billing system takes everyones payments without fail or going wrong but i bet if it did it would be fixed pronto and the people with no broadband would have to go to the back of the q lol

Their billing system even manages to bill people who are no longer customers
I'm getting the usuall run around of phone back in a day etc. What a load of crap. I thought I had got past all this the last 4 and a half weeks of downtime I had with them.
They keep taking my monthly payments out even though they are not providing a service.
Seriously thinking of paying the £85 or so it will cost to get out of the contract early and going for the all in Sky package.
If the future is Orange then the future is bleak - aaahhhh!

I would do some serious research on Sky before u commit at skyuser and adslguide on the Sky forum they have massive problems and a lot of unhappy customers.

Kilabyte, sorry to hear your back on the sh**ty customer service/tech support treadmill , you really do have my sympathy. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that my connection keeps working. You still using the live box? I got Orange to send a modem and hooked up that way. Don't know whether that was what sorted the problem, doubt it, but is worth a try.
