can anyone help? i am running osX 10.3.9, and have Orange broadband, connecting with a livebox through the eternet cable for the moment using firefox. i havent gone wireless yet. Three weeks ago when i first set everything up i had a fantastic broadband connection, however for the last two weeks i keep mainly getting the grey firefox browser box saying cannot connect to the internet, address may be wrong etc etc. ocassionally it does connect, sometimes fast, usually slow. i have checked in the invitel(?) page and it is saying connect is fine.
one strange occurance is that firefox which sits on my desktop dissapeares everytime i restart, even from the dock. i have now placed it in applications, and have to go there eveytime i start up to try to connect to the internet.
orange say there are no problems with the server, has anyone else encountered this?
another point to add is my livebox has no 'reset' button on it. could this be an old box?
