Hi got a problem with my internet dropping out when the phone rings. It doesn't do it every time and is very random but it does it A LOT and is really quiet annoying to say the least.
More annoying is that nobody seems to be able to help without blaming someone else.
Here is what I have tried,
replaced filters over 3 times (everything goes through one)
changed sockets,
changed phones (corded and wireless)
changed routers 3 times.
Had a BT engineer out who has confirmed the line is working correctly and all internal wiring is sound. Said it was probably a problem with Oranges equipment.
Phoned Orange who were in all honestly useless and did not listen, ie wanting me to change router change filters, try this try that all of which was already done which they knew as I told them about a million times.
Firstly they tried to blame the router because its not there's (its not trust me)
Then I asked them what the SNR is supposed to be because it seems low to me after reading about a bit, they then told me they can't tell me because there application isn't updated and to ring back in 3 days from a mobile .
Any way here is the routers stats has anyone got any ideas, also am I right about the SNR being too low and would it cause drop outs like im experiencing? Drop outs do seem more frequent when the internet is on load i.e playing online game or similar.
