Three weeks ago today the landline in my 80yr + parents home lost its dialtone
this fault was reported by me to Orange or ee the next day. I explained that the landline has a medical alert alarm on it which allows the user to press a button and persons are summoned to their aid. I was told a priority repair request would be forwarded to BT and a repair carried out with 48hrs.
At this present time two reference repair numbers later and six calls reporting fault it is still not fixed and have never had promised call backs from either Orange or BT.
As this landline is a potential lifesaver I think this is scandalous.
Anyone else out there had this type of problem, comments please and advice on what to do next appreciated.
Nearly 4 weeks later and still no working homephone and now another reference repair number and another assurance it will be fixed in 48hrs SOME CHANCE!!!!!
