I originally posted on here in 2007/2008 about horrific problems with Orange and I eventually got out of my contract.
I then returned briefly in 2010 to report how great it was to be free of Orange.
I see this site isn't so busy now. Has Orange improved?
I have had to decide today which provider to switch to. EE (formerly Orange) were offering a fantastic deal along with £100 quidco cashback. I was poised to take it but due to what happened in 2007/08 I just can't. I couldn't even take the risk.
The people running Orange at that time when it took over wanadoo have destroyed any chance of it ever being a big player IMO.
Has anyone signed up with EE and if so, how has it gone?
Do you know that Orange dumped their LLU and now their only product is the BT White Label (BT's fully managed BB and phone product) so if you re-join it'll be a totally different connection......can't say it'll be better or worse but it'll be different.

So are people not having so many problems?
This site used to be very busy. I also notice that Orange started increasing their customer base for the first time in years.
The LLU was what destroyed my connection in 2006. With wanadoo it was fine. As soon as Orange LLU'd it, it never worked again.
I am tempted to move back to Orange because I can get the broadband for £5 a month and get cashback of £100 for just a 12 month contract.
