Need Help!!
just been on to the broadband helpline again.
i have done speed test over the last few days, and seem to only be getting 1.86Mbs to 2.57Mbs, yet below data from the LiveBox show Attainable 5347kbps, Downstream 5303kbps, and Upstream 1124kbps.
Is the fault between my LivBox and computer? (what to do) or the outside line, i thought i would get at least 5000kbps download speed when doing the tests??. did the usual, check the filters and lines, did the 17070 option 2 quiet line test (no Problems).
Orange wanted to get a BT engineer to come out at a cost of £45 call out plus £40 an hour, and i would have to pay this if the fault was found to be in my property.
i had this problem last year and it was DLM?, they said they re-set this and after that all was fine. (What is DLM)?.
Would it help if i changed the livebox for a Netgear N150 ADSL2+ router that they sent me to try?.
Any explanation of the above would be a great help.
