Sometimes when I go to a website the dial-up networking box comes up asking me to connect, even though my broadband connection is working fine. I close the connect box, and the browser goes to the website without a problem. It is as if the connection is being lost, then immediately reconnects again. It happens with my wired pc as well as my wireless pc, so I don't think it's a wireless issue.
It's not a major problem, but it is a bit irritating and I can't figure out why it does it?
If you're running through Wireless or Ethernet then you don't need to dialup at all. Goto tools, internet options, connections tab and set it to never dial a connection. Should fix that for you.
