7 weeks since I changed over from Anytime to Broadband and had NO CONNECTION at any time. Customer service staff took me through the re-set procedure, tested the line and blamed fault on BT. I had BT do a line check and they said it was in perfect working order. When Livebox is connected up the telephone sound quality is rubbish.
Customer Services siad they would do their best to get me connected, but it hasn't happened yet, and I haven't heard from them in weeks.
I have been far too patient I know, so disappointed not to have broadband.
However, I don't suppose any other ISP can do better?
" However, I don't suppose any other ISP can do better? "
I think if you re-write the above as :-
" .........I suppose any other ISP can do better. "
you will have answered your own question.
As you read this and other forums Orange will blame everyone and their cat rather than admitting and accepting responsibility for their failings.
It's an abject disgrace when anyone is left weeks, as in your case, and months in other cases, without a valid reason, nor any suggestion of an end in sight.
HOPE THEY ARE NOT CHARGING YOU FOR THE 7 WEEKS !!!!
CHECK YOUR BANK ACCOUNT, IF YOU HAVE NOT HAD SERVICE YOU SHOULDNT HAVE PAID A PENNY.

That can be a common sign of a faulty filter or something not quite setup right. For example a phone, Sky box or anything connected to the line somewhere without a filter.
You've tried at the master phone socket with each filter in turn and with only the livebox connected to the line and nothing else in any other sockets?
