Hi,

Middle of the morning my connection suddenly dropped, and the @ light started flashing slowly.

The Livebox was giving Invalid ADSL Authentication errors - yet I hadn't changed anything (for years). Restarting the router a couple of times did nothing.

I was busy then, and left it to sort itself out - to no avail. I have now changed the login details from @fs to @bb3.freeserve.co.uk, and I was immediately connected (but at 1/3rd of the speed).

What is going on?

(At least I'm well out of contract, and seriously thinking of jumping ship.)
