I'm new to this forum and (unsurprisingly!) am having problems with my Orange Internet connection.
I have had the livebox since September 2006 and have not had any problems with it at all until recently. It began getting really weak signal and slow speeds, and has not dropped out altogether.
The @ light on the Livebox is flashing quickly and I have been through all the usual malarky via 'technical support' (yeah right!)
I have tried a new filter and changed which BT socket I connect into. I am at a bit of a loss as to what to try next.....any help gratefully appreciated!
I'll try the unpluggin thing. No changes to phone wiring etc. From what I can see on the forum the flashing light means no signal is being received, which would seem to indicate a problem with Orange or the Livebox itself.
I remember having the same problem, went through all the checks etc.. this lasted for about 4 weeks.
The sad thing is that Orange didn't admit there was a problem at their end so I eventually went to 02 instead.
Been with them since Jan. of this year and not a single problem. If you're not in contract anymore, I would urge you to leave Orange asap and go to 02 (if your exchange is LLU-enabled that is).

My Livebox has been disconnecting from the Internet for the last few weeks and I'm still having problems after installing new filters and several Livebox restores over the phone with Orange. They don't seem to be able to resolve the problem and I'm losing patience with them now!
Did you manage to resolve the problem in the end ?

I'd be interested to hear too. I've been having problems with the internet connection over the last few weeks too. Never had a problem before Almost totally gone but then at one point last week had connection for a minute or two before all went pear shaped again. Not had much joy with the Orange help either
