my exchange was unbundled at the start of Feb, i have not had the real horror stories of being disconnected for weeks on end like some.But my
complaint is speed, i was about to ask for a MAC code back in Dec 2005,but a person at wanadoo told me 8 meg would be available in Feb.So i decided to stay with them. i had done a little homework to what sort of speed i could expect and used a few calculators.

given that i live a stones throw away from the exchange, i would recieve as close to 8meg as possible.But the truth is i am getting slightly less than i did on the 2meg connection. i read this statement from wanadoo at the register the page that highlights this forum.
For its part, Wanadoo claims it has "successfully migrated tens of thousands of customers to the new Wanadoo network", but admits that "only a very small number of customers have experienced any problems". And the ISP maintains that it is "fully equipped to deal with these [problems]" and is working with its suppliers to "resolve any problems as soon as they are brought to our attention".
i have spent hours to their call centers with promises made by them and broken about speed and line tests, engineers out to fix my problem.
i realy want to know are there any wanadoo customers even close to 8meg.
i know ive got a connection and would glady wait untill the major probs with other people are sorted out.but all ive got from them is lies
But according to that wanadoo statement there are some satisfied customers out there, or is it those customers are believing the up to 8 meg without checking for themselves what they should be getting.
