I will not bore you with the details suffice to say I have been having connection issues for several months. My littel screens on the botom right tell me I am connected at 3Mbps but I have done a speed test and its only 0.8Mbps.
The Livebox disconnects every day at least 2 or 3 times sometimes for hours and the light merrily flash away.
Anyway to get to the point of this post - I have a PC and a Laptop connected wirelessly - sometimes I lose the wireless connection and have to run a repair. When I do this from the PC I get a blue scree shutdown message and have to reboot any ideas why. It doesnt happen on the laptop.
I am so close to telling Orange to st** ** but losing my freeserve email address would cause problems.
I also get this note from 'samknows' - any idea what it means
There appears to a compatibility issue with your phone line. This could be caused by an existing DSL connection, ISDN, a DACS unit, TPON, a pending ADSL order or many other common issues. This will need to be resolved before ADSL can be supplied to your line.

The Blue Screen is most commonly caused by driver problems, may be a good idea to try updating or just reinstalling your LAN port/card drivers, although the error itself should give hints at whats causing it.

That note answers itself really. You already have broadband, so you can't get it put twice onto the line, they'd just interfere with each other and then neither would work.
