So i got a letter today (well, technically yeasterday as its gone midnight lol) that i have exceeded the Fair Use Policy by 130GB during August and September. However, i sent the deadbox back to them in August so i have no idea where they get that from lol.
Leaving them was the best thing i ever did, im get a consistent 5MB/50Mb download speed now and soon ill also be enjoying 5Mb upload!
Feel sorry for everyone that are still with Orange. Hope you also get shut of them soon!
Incase anyone's wondering i would highly recommend Virgin Media. You get the speed you pay for, it has only gone down twice for 5 min's each time (BT's fault for upgrading the exchange for there crappy BT Infinity)
They also have the ability to connect to your modem and diagnose any connection issues with it and fix it whilst your on the phone (free phone call aswell!) Unlike Oranges "Wait 24 - 48 hours why our engineers perform a line test"
Although the call centers are in india like pretty much everyones now, they are much easier to understand and actually know what they are talking about! One phone call does the job!
I'am happy for you mate, But I have to be honest I'am really happy with Orange broadband they have never let me down and I have only dropped connection once, and there call centres always help me with any technical problems, even though I'am only on 3Mbps I t is still great for me, I mean I play Xbox Live all the time and never have any issues. So Orange Broadband is Brilliant!!
