Hi! I have recently upgraded to the Livebox!! Beforehand I was on Wanadoo BB (Speedtouch) Then purchased a Linksys BB router/modem. After a couple of hours acheived BB through ethernet on my desktop and wireless from my wireless enabled laptop.Great!!
Received the livebox linked it up to desktop online in minutes no prob. HOWEVER I have managed to use the second ethernet to connect laptop to livebox and internet BUT NOT WIRELESS!!!!
I mange to attempt connection however it says Acquiring network address
I have checked the settings, all I think are correct WPA the WEP key is fully correct and turn off Firewall when askedCan anyone help
Make sure the livebox is in pairing mode for it's first connection until it's fully established. (Press 1 on the livebox so the antenna light flashes)
You may need to set the livebox security to WPA only as some systems don't agree with the dual security system of the livebox.
Browse to 192.168.1.1 and click the link.
username and password are by default both admin,
go into configuration > advanced > wireless,
select WPA only and submit, apply now if asked.
