Hi al just woundering if i can get out of my contract because i am moving home and BT state there is not a active line there
So i now have to pay 127 pounds to get the connection but i can not afford it.
So it means i will have a broadband but not been able to use it and can't see the point of having it,that's why i just woundering if i can get out of my contract with out paying the remaing canceling charges from Orange
about leaving Orange has changed as i now have a active line and it took a while to get my internet sorted out.
The other day i was sat and a BT enginneer called and said to me have you got a fault on your line i said no not that i know off
He replyed yeah we picked a fault called battery interfence or something like that.
Any way another 1 called today for the same thing i told him there was a guy on thursday about it.But on friday Orange connected me and this is what the livebox is saying
Connection mode : G.DMT

now yesterday i was getting download speeds of 7.0mb and now that the BT engineer was fartin artound on line by turning it off at the green cabnet round the corner of the house i have only started to get 2.0 mb max download speed
Now i think i am BT network not oranges llu cause i did a BT tester and it worked
Can anybody help me thinking that the dlm has kicked in or it's BT congestion or something else
just done 1 before coming on and the same 2000kbs max atchevied 1890 kbps so i think with the connection dropped 3 times in several minutes after the BT engineer turned my line on i think i have been put on 2mb profile
but i have moved 4 weeks ago to bishop auckland from shildon and orane do have a llu network but it must be full
But you didn't post the IP Profile.....that's what dictates the connection on IPStream !
I know the router is synced at 8128kbps which is more or less as fast as you can connect on IPStream so the actual line is OK but I don't know what the IP Profile is.

i think i have been put on a 2mb profile because of the engineer this morning trying to find the fault out side of my house
so do you also think oranges llu network is full in bishop auckland and that's why i'm on BT network
Also BT have marked the path for a contractor to dig up so they can repair the fault right out side the front of my house might be best to when they have done it
so do you also think oranges llu network is full in bishop auckland and that's why i'm on BT network
No ISP uses BT if they have available LLU in the exchange as it is not financially viable, so I can only assume that the 0range LLU in Bishop Auckland is at full capacity.
well this is the fourth day and still stuck on 2mb profile so phoned Orange to get the profile changed and there reply was i was still in the 10 grace period and had to wait then for it,but some how i am not convinced as told them about the BT engineer pratin around on my line and said the dlm has kicked in
What should i do next if it has not returned to the profile i should be on for stats
