Hey
New to this forum......
Rightheres my problem i seem to have an occuring problem with my connection for some reason i cannot connect to the internet even tho the lights on my live box are stable and not flashing
I have to pull the power plug on the livebox and reconnect it to get a connection again...seems to be doing it a lot for some reason.
I did have this problem about 18 months ago was told (as usual) to call the indian helpline but as you can imagine they were no bloody use at all!
Got so frustrated asked for me MAC code but didnt change (wish i had now)
Are they capping/blocking me for some reason? seems strange as the livebox seems to stable(lights) and windows is showing im connected and not showing any problems!
Any help would be appreciated!
Kevin
It looks like you are on the up to 20meg ADSL2+ package but capped at 8meg.
So the router is synced with the equipment at the local exchange.
If your main BT socket has a split lower half faceplate that unscews then remove it carefully and plug the router into the test socket behind the lower half faceplate and check the stats again.

The 20meg package is £12pm so if you pay more than that then it MIGHT be worth upgrading. It's a big might though as it means another 18 month contract.
As for the connection issues it might be worth checking that UPnP is disabled in the LiveBox. It'll be somewhere in "configuration". Can't be more precise as I don't & never have used a LiveBox.
