Recieved my livebox two days ago (Feels more lioke 2 Weeks for the amount of time i've spent on it).
The first thing I have to say is that the information provided by Orange is rubbish. The installation program kept freezing.
For a whole evening I struggled with the Orange software before I slung the disk.
I'm running win XP sp 2, and have two PC's with Belkin wireless NIC's prviously configured on 192.168.2.2, 192.168.2.3 and a belkin modem router at 192.168.2.1. My print server wireless print server was configured on 192.168.2.253.
All this equipment was merrily working together until upcomes the live box.
A little bit of information like the default IP and the username and pass word to get access to the utility settings would have helped grately. Why this is't provided with the setup instructions I don't know.
DHCP is disabled as I hard code IP addresses.
I have now changed all my IP addresses to suit (i.e 192.168.1.2 etc) the Live box and have connected 1 pc & print server successfully wirelessly.
I think Belkin equipment defaults to 192.168.2.X. So check if you have.
Yet I'm having problems with the second PC. Used the same method as the first PC any suggestions?[/b]
