I got a new gaming PC and an old pc. i use the Red port for my gaming PC as i want my livebox near it too. For the old one i connect it with a 10m cables in yellow port it works great, but now just change my cable to 20m and am getting limited or no connectivity. Some people told me that i need to configure in 192.168.1.1. but i dont know wat to do
any help please!!
But when try the new cable that is the 20m with my gaming PC it works well, (but need to plug it in another LAN port, else will get the same problem).. as my old PC got only one LAN port, i keep getting the same error. But why not with the 10m.
i think its not the cable as it works with the gaming PC.
the 20m cable works well in my gaming pc even in red and yellow port but doesnt work at all in my Old pc even in both ports.
whereas the 10m works well in both machine and in the red and yellow port
That makes no sense at all.....and I'm not doubting your results.....but I would try a totally different cable in the old PC because it doesn't seem to like that one particular 20m cable
