I've been with Orange Broadband for years now. At peak times my ping is making games like WOW unplayable. I'm getting 300 - 1200ms and now I'm getting spikes, disconnections. I've been told that as long as the ping is fine in the mornings then there is no problem.
If I was to change ISPs would the issue remain because I'd still be on the same LLU? Can anyone give me an idea if the problems with Orange or can I go with someone else and get better ping?
You're getting that on an LLU connection are you? I'd expect that on non-LLU at peak hours but not LLU.
If you switch to another ISP who has LLU then you'll use their equipment not 0range's so the problem should disappear.
Thanks for the reply, unfortunately for me my choices seem limited as o2 (now Sky) don't have their equipment here but talktalk, AOL and bulldog do? What are these providers like?
