I cancelled my account last week, and i didnt realise you had to give 30 days notice, so i decided to set a computer up to the Livebox and download TONNES of data as a reward for them giving me such crap service for 3 years!
I can download about 16GB in 24 Hours so with my calculations i should of actually downloaded 112GB to date, and ive still got a few more weeks left XD ... Will they charge me more if i keep downloading, or just disconnect me early? Ive never breached the FUP before, and ive seen people that have had an average of over 100GB over two months
Edit: Also, please note, i set the global upload speed to 10 and download speed to 190 as i was using the computer to do other things at the same time so didnt want it running too slow
I'm not sure what their FUP is, I used to be with Orange Broadband for 3 years (I didn't pay for it as I got free internet because of mobile contract which costed 25 quid a month or something).
I've never seen a mail or call saying I've gone over the FUP and I'm sure I've hit the 200 GB quite a few times and 120 gig at least each month..
