Hello there. I have been using the Orange Home Select package for a while now. But for the last few months I have been facing quite a weird problem.
My Livebox is connected to the main BT socket downstairs and I mostly use my laptops upstairs. In one of these rooms the Wireless connection is terrible! Checking the 'Network and Sharing center' I can actually see the speed of the connection vary between 2 Mbps to 54 Mbps. As soon as I move out of the room the speed steadies and picks up. I have tried switching mobiles off, stopped using wireless mouse, switched between the channels, tried a factory reset of the Livebox and even tried moving the Livebox to a different BT socket upstairs. But nothing seems to help! I am dumbfounded as to what might be causing this problem.
One thing I noticed is that my Sky Dish is attached outside to this particular room. Could this be causing the problem? Any help would be really appreciated!
