Have had Wireless & Talk for some time and never managed to get it to work properly - wasn't a problem at first as I didn't really want the Talk bit just the Wireless. Now I want to use the Talk but can't make calls. It works fine receiving them and the phone I'm using works OK as a BT phone. Have even tried another phone. I get the five pips then normal (if a bit quiet) dialling tone but when I dial a number (any number) it just carries on with the dialling tone. Anyone else had the same problem?
Yes I did - no matter what I dial, can just hear dialling tone coming back at me. Am wondering now if it's the phone - I know I need a touch tone but I did think the one I have is a touch tone. Looks like I'm going to have to try a new phone?
When you dial do you hear the tones? If it's just a bunch of clicks then thats not a touch tone phone. A few will have a little switch to let you select which it is.
Easiest way would be to borrow one just to check and make sure.
