I've recently signed up with Orange as they are the only provider to have unbundled my exchange with ADSL2+
However, although my connection speed seems ok (about 5-6 meg, not that much better than ADSL1, but at least I get the faster upload of just under a meg).
However, after being connected for a while, my ping time increases to about 900ms. If I reboot my router it comes back down, but only to increase again after a while.
I have spent some time trying to explain the difference between slow speed and long ping times to the person in the call centre. My promised call back from someone more technical didn't happen, and I'm starting to worry.
