Basically, ive being getting 'Link Down' for the past 3 days. Now my Livebox says im no longer on ADSL2 and instead im on G.DMT. It also says im on 'Type: Interleave'
If it detects a serious noise incident then it will always try to maintain a connection. Interleave corrects errors that occur, which if left uncorrected will cause a disconnection.
The function of a DLM is to always maintain a connection (however fast/slow) rather than the router disconnect.
