I've run into a problem with my Orange.net POP3 email mailbox.
The webmail works perfectly, I can login, send and receive mails no problem at all. However when I try to to access the account using an email client or mobile it will not connect and gives the following error:
Thunderbird on Win7
Thunderbird on XP
QuickDelete on XP
Gmail in Firefox and IE8
iPhone
All give the same result, "IN USE on another device".
I found this on the apple site: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2621
so it looks like an easy fix, just wait for the lock to end and it should work. It didn't. I have changed the password, disabled the POP account in all but one of the applications listed above, not logged in via the webmail and it still gives the same error.
I have spoken to Orange support and it's been with their tech team for a few weeks now. Has anyone run into this problem before? any ideas how to fix it?
