No help from Orange, of course - call (reluctantly) the help desk (ha!) and get this generic message about high level of calls due to users seeing message 'page no displayed' - try the internet again later, they kindly suggest on message.
Eh? I assume that's an oblique way of saying they don't know what's happening and 'the internet' (as Orange 'provides' it) is 'down' again but they don't know why. Message even says they don't know when will be fixed!??!?!
Went down yesterday pm and came back at Midnight'ish and was OK but usually slow until approx 3pm today then down again.
Have emailed past contacts and a 'Jonathan' who seems to be here to no avail - got an email, 'no problems are known' - eh!??! Don't you listen to your own bloody voice mail messages on your own help desk!??! Beggars belief. This company NEVER seems to learn/improve.
Why oh Why did I not get my MAC code last time!?!??
I work from home and my business is all web based - this cripples me.
I've had enough of this. Thanks for nothing, Orange.
By the way, in Yorkshire area - anyone else having this over past couple of days?

Yep; I was having similar probs; in the Yorkshire area too. After 4 weeks of connection issues (from the end of Nov.), I got my MAC last week and signed up with 02
I'm also having this problem, it's been ongoing for the last two weeks. Not always during peak times, and I'm also in Yorkshire.
More specifically Leeds, Cookridge (Maybe we can identify it's the exchange?)
Have done hundereds of speedtests, ranging from 3+ (fine) to 0.3MB with 800ms ping.
Trace routes have identified the slow down as coming from within Orange's network (first Three hops of Orange LLU are in their network). Try explaining that to scripted, outsourced techs though.
Really is a problem as both me and the missus work from home.
If it isn't resolved by Tuesday I will be leaving Orange.
