Have a major problem. When opening any website front page it takes at least 4mins to open, as I go deeper into the website the time to bring the page up gets longer and longer, i.e 3 pages in up to as long as 20 mins. Similarly with my Orange webmail account, eventually takes about 10 mins to get to the inbox, click on an email then nothing for at least 6 mins and comes up with a message "Can't connect etc".
The Wanadoo box configuration is fine, unchanged since this started Saturday morning 11:00am (was working fine Saturday 2:00am) down speed 8096 upspeed 448, line speed 8Mb from exchange all present and correct. Any help?

What you're experiencing is typical of congestion , if this really only occurs at peak times. That'll be 6pm-midnight Mon-Fri and most times over the weekend.
There is one final thing you can test and that is at this website http://speedtester.BT.com/ .
I'm assuming yours is not a LLU package so the BT site will provide some useful info as well.

Ran the speedtester but it came up, after a couple minutes, that it couldn't test the speed. Ah well.
I've heard of this congestion thingy, never had it this bad, might have been a 10 sec or so delay on opening a page in the past but never 5 to 20 mins.
If you can email your landline number/broadband account number and best contact number to customer.services@orange.co.uk, I'll arrange for a specialist to contact you for investigation.
So I can pick up your mail quickly, please add 'Jonathan Orange Response' in the first line.
