Bought a PAYG phone from Orange via telephone a month ago (have been an Orange customer for over 10 years). The telesales person was unprofessional to say the least - she kept going on about Celebrity BB and how she was a granny at 39 - very impressive! Anyway, I wanted the phone delivered to an address I was staying at for 2 weeks (not my home address) - she assured me that would be no problem. I had also built up an impressive phone fund to use against a new mobile, but the 39-year old granny said I couldn't use it and wouldn't give me a coherent reason why! Lo and behold, mobile delivered to home address, when I specifically asked for it NOT to be delivered there. It gets better. A neighbour phoned me to tell me the phone had been delivered there so I called Orange Customer Service - some call centre in India - and they didn't have a clue, let alone could speak intelligible English. Am still waiting to have Orange Manager contact me over the debacle. Orange treat their customers with contempt - time to switch, I feel.
