<Livebox Issues? ~ Nn VOIP service after upgrade to Wireless & Talk

I have recently upgraded to W & T after having been on Freeserve then Wanadoo broadband for several years without any problems. The installation of the Livebox went Ok and broadband is working perfectly using the ethernet connection. The problem is that the phone light will not come on despite doing everything that the manaul says and resetting the livebox every 24hrs. I have sent several emails to Orange support with all the details they need but they do not seem intersted in solving the problem and only want me to phone them on their expensive line. I assume that this is only an activation problem on their part and see no reason why they can't sort this by email. Is there something I need to do to activate the phone service as the livebox configuration says the VOIP service is currently not available and No number assigned and will not let me chnage to enabled. I am not impressed with the service and feel like reverting back to my old speedtouch connection.
