I'm one of the lucky ones who's benefitted from Oranges incompetence over the last year or so. I received a 'free' 8mb account and livebox with a mobile phone contract - when the contract ended I received no request to return the livebox and I could still access the net.
Over recent months, the 'Link down' status message has been apprearing more frequently - now I appear to be receiving broadband approx 2 days out of 3. I want to sqtich to another provider, but I'm worried that Orange may try and charge me for this 'free' usage..? My questions are?
1. Can Orange charge me? I'm not even sure they would know whether I've used this account or not whilst it's remained open?
2. Is it possible to migrate to another provider without involving Orange?
