Copy of email sent, just what you would expect from Orange no reply.................I wait with baited breath
I have been a member of Freeserve/Wanadoo/Orange for a number of years and most of the time have been a happy customer, however......
When BT launched their ASDL MAX service I called your Wanadoo (as it was then) customer service department to enquire when you would be launching the service, as my exchange Nuneaton had not been LLU'd, time after time I was told it was up and running when in fact it was not.
Your customer service agents had been given no information and were confused by your own Max product.
In April I was told ADSL MAX would be starting when Orange took over and because I had asked for my MAC code your company gave me a free month to stay, I accepted the free month.
May came and I was told yes we can upgrade you BT Max, after waiting 2 weeks I called your customer service department to find out when my upgraded speed service would start and I was told that they had no information when, yet 2 weeks before I was told it was available and I accepted a new contract!
June I asked again, July I asked, "Yes we will be launching BT Max in the summer" !
I called again today, the operator did not know what BT Max was about. So I assume "summer" will come and go.
For the same monthly subscription I can obtain a better deal than Orange is offering, there is no high speed connection from Orange at the Nuneaton exchange although it is ADSL MAX enabled, Bulldog, Sky and and Carphone LLU will be enabled later this month who are able to give me up to 8meg or more
Can you please tell me when Orange will be able to supply ADSL MAX or your own LLU product from Nuneaton exchange, if not can you give me a good reason why I should stay with Orange.
