Just moved home currently on homemax at my old address been with them about 3yrs now. so i phoned Orange tonight to ask if they can transfer my package to my new address and they said only if the BT line is active so i told them if i need the BT line active i will have to go with BT as they have a minumum contract of 12months and they said yes thats what you need to do and we can just supply broadband ? is this true because i got told by someone that if the exchange has got LLU operator presence which it has for Orange and i have only moved a few streets away that Orange can just swap it over to my new address i have a phoneline at my new address which was live last week untill the old owner must have had it cancelled so what are my options BT want £127 reconection and 11pound something a month ?
