I called up to speak with an Orange customer advisor about switching to Orange.
He made the company sound so good it was exactly what i was looking for but i am affraid thats where the good part stops.
I provided a MAC code on the second of April and was told i would be going live on the 16th it didnt happen. I was told that they have trouble putting orders through over a bank holiday and i was one of the orders that didnt go through. We are now on the 26th still no broadband was told it would be on tonight by 12midnight was also told there would be no loss of service that was another lie. Called up today and asked how long i had to make up my mind on whether to stay with Orange or cancell my order and thats where the big shock came. Was informed that my cooling period had ended even though i still had not been connected even though they told me my cooling off period was from when i placed order to the minute i was connected yet again another lie. And more to my shock i opened up the equipment box expecting a nice Orange live box wireless box similar to the BT home hub only to find that Orange have decided to supply me with a siemens router that was probably made 100yrs ago. So from start to finish i have been lied to and let down by Orange with noway or no comprise apart from 1 month free i am absolutly disgusted with Orange they are all promises and no action so i am let with one way to go. Take matters up with consumer direct and call BBC TV'S watchdogand hopefully i can prevent somebody going through what i have experienced. So please if you are reading this take my advice and stay well clear of Orange they dont care about and will lie to you to get your hard earned money.[/b]

Please drop me a mail at customer.services@orange.co.uk, including your landline/broadband account number and I will see what is going on and what we can do about it. Please include your best contact number and add 'Jonathan Orange Response' in the first line, so the mail can be picked up quickly.
