Hi, I have been having problems with Orange since Tuesday 10th Nov. I have made upteen phone calls to Orange, in India??, I presume.
Everytime I get through to them, I have to explain over and over again what the problem is.
They had me doing allsorts of tests with the wireless router.
I then spoke to a local IT engineer and he said if my Orange light kept flashing instead of staying solid green, then it's Oranges problem.
They only admitted it was their problem after the 3rd phone call.
As I run a business, I ended up having to go to a Mcdonalds 8 miles away to use thier free wi-fi to check my emails.
Last night in the evening, my broadband was back on, in fact it was on all night til about 10.30am today.
Then it hasn't worked all day. I have had to resort to buying a dongle from Car Phone warehouse at £79 a go, just to get on the internet from home.
I'm fed up.
They keep telling me engineers are working on the problem, but didn't tell me it was a major problem with a lot of other people.
Best tip ( as I have had problems for I dont know how long ) DUMP them they dont care about customers only profit, go with a good English company ( Not French whingers ) and give yourself peace of mind.
I have had a few hours of internet from them since Wed, but it has been off all day today.
When I rang them again today, the operator put me through to the next level of tech help.
There was a helpful girl there who explained it was because they were trying to get my line to take 8mbs, or something, but it doesn't like it, so they are lowering the speed again and then are trying to get it stabilised, then will increase it again.
Goodness knows how long it wil take.
Who are the French whingers?? Are Orange, french??

Why should I prove to you in my book a NO_BODY just a faceless interjector.
The information is directly lifted from Oranges own website, so if you that interested ask them to prove it, and dont whatever you do in the future question my integrity you worm.

The information is directly lifted from Oranges own website
Yes, a faceless nobody interjector.....just like you John.
Just because Orange say they're the number one provider of broadband internet services in Europe doesn't necessarily make it correct information.....does it ? That's why I asked you to provide the source of the data....and you have, thanks very much.
