I have just had the most amazingly positive experience setting up a new Broadband connection with Zen.
The Rochdale based outfit stunned me with their commitment to overcoming an issue that turned out to be very old wiring in my house. Having failed to get the initial connection they got a BT Openreach engineer out. No cost to me!
i know have 17Mbs consistently (less than 200 yards from exchange) and have not noticed any throttling. They state they are not 'snooping' on traffic or acting as enforcers for other organisations.
The support from Zen is outstanding. They are UK based, real people who don't read off a script.
This is not a flash in the pan. I set up my girlfriend 4 years ago with Zen and they have been blemishless. The support, though rarely needed, has been outstanding and the speeds consistently good.
They are not the cheapest but yet again you get what you pay for. I unreservedly recommend Zen if you want ISP peace of mind
I agree they are not the cheapest but I have been hugely impressed at the knowledge and commitment of the support staff. I have a MAC OSX server set up and they have even been able to fine tune that for me.
Only Apple compares with the quality of support I have experienced. After the experience of dire service and support from Orange Mobile over the last 6-8 weeks it really makes you appreciate companies that get it right.
I am looking at switching my mobile service to o2 (now Sky). Will I be disappointed?

Well, if their (LLU) Broadband is anything to go by, then no, you certainly won't be disappointed
