Hi all, another sad Orange customer suffering from their laughable approach to traffic management.
Funny how their website states "It also means that we are able to prioritise certain types of internet traffic on time-sensitive applications such as our second line phone service or gaming."
It appears that gaming (and VoIP such as Teamspeak) is in fact the major service which suffers, exactly the opposite of what they claim to be doing.
Anyway, I've finally had enough of 20% incoming packet loss in the evenings, so I've decided to bite the bullet and change, even though I'm currently only paying £5 per month for "Unlimited" (another laughable claim from Orange) 8Mb service.
My problem is that my exchange has no LLU, so my first choice (Be) don't cover my area. Can anyone recommend a broadband provider for gaming that are available from non-LLU exchanges? PlusNet appear to be 2nd choice now (and I'll have to swallow an extra £15 a month).

I left Orange for PlusNet and can confirm that their gaming package is wonderful although at £19.55 you get what you pay for.
