Hi, i've bought a new up-to-date PC and i cannot connect to my Broadband account with it.
I've got the original Thomson SpeedDial 330 modem from Orange, and the installation CD (from when i moved from old-style dial-up to Broadband) but the install process hangs when i get to Step 4 "detecting the modem", even though i have it plugged into a USB port that i know works. Do i need to get updated modem / installation cd from Orange, or is it something else ?.

Thanks for your reply Jonathan but i managed to sort it, i just grabbed the modem drivers from Thompsons website and installed it myself - all working fine now, but if i have any other issues i'll drop you an e:mail
