Have been with Orange for 4 months & all has been fine until 4 days ago. I haved a siemens SE572 wireless router & my connection kept coming & going. After calling Orange 7 times over the last few days & trying everything they tell me to do (reset router, turn off wireless & connect with ethernet, change filter etc) the problem is still there!!! So so annoying. The last time i called I was told that as i'm connected at the very minute there is nothing they can do as the line test is fine!
The other problem I have is severe fluctuation of speed. I fairly regularly check my speed & it's always around 1mb. Now its everywhere, 344kbps at the mo, 750kbps this morning, 456kbps yesterday evening and even down to 96kbps yesterday morning. Orange told me that my line could only support 500kbps but couldn't then explain why i've been receiving 1mb for the last 3mths.
Apparantly it has now been logged as a fault & someone will call me back in 24hrs (still waiting for the promised callback 4 days ago) so don't have high expections of getting the call.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as this is driving me mad!!!

Update!!!! Now all working fine. Having called Orange about 15 times as their promised return call never materialised, I was finally put through to someone in the UK who spoke understandable english. After 5 minutes on the phone he arranged for a BT engineer to visit the next day who sorted the problem (tree rub on the phone line, I live in a very rural area). So much for the Indian call center 'line tests' who reported all fine & no problem at all with the line!
So i'm a happy chappy to have it all working again, I just hope I'll never have to call the Indian call center again.
