My Advent laptop can no longer see Livebox. The original problem I had was that when I switched on the laptop and tried to connect I had to reenter the security code. Now the only connect it appears to see is one that I assume is my neighbours.The Lan card and Internet icons have red x's through them. When I connect the Livebox by cable everything is fine.
If I bought a dongle would the connection work or are there some tweaks I could do to fix?
Any help please for a computer illiterate?

TURNED ON LAPTOP THIS MORNING AND CAN NOW SEE LIVEBOX. ENTERED SECURITY KEY IN PAIRING MODE AND NOW GETTING MESSAGE TO RESET WIRELESS ROUTER OR ACCESS POINT. HOW DO I DO THIS PLEASE?
